So about this summer...

Things are finally starting to come together down here in the Bluegrass state.  In June, Heather had to move her studio from just off the square, in the heart of our bustling little metropolis, up to our house (only a few blocks away).  The family has given up a bit of room, but her business seems to have just exploded!

This way, she can edit pictures, sit and meet with friends, or actually do full photo shoots - from the comfort of her own little studio.  We look forward to the fall, with three weddings to do already and more to come I am sure.  Soon, we hope to expand to be able to video and do some edited collections of video, photo, music, and sound selections from the weddings themselves.  Who knows, we could be building quite a little family business here.  The kids are quite natural talents, like their mom, and alread have a great eye for cool shots.

Summer vacation

Not too much of a summer vacation this year.  We were still aclimating in the steamy Kentucky summer.

But, we did buy season passes to Kentucky Kingdom - Six flags - and that has been great.  We are also taking the family to our annual "Last chance summer bash" where we take the kids on the alpine slides - used to be on Mt. Hood, now it will be in Cave City.  But, a tradition non-the-less!

And the bikes

Due to the high price of gas - and well, because it was about time - Rich is back on two wheels!

We stumbled upon a 2000 Yamaha V-star 1100 Classic that was in great shape and very low miles.  Well, it is still in great shape - but the miles are climbing.  At first commuting to Bowling Green, now toe Cave City, at 80+ a day, the miles are climbing.  But, the riding season makes it all worth it!  Rich is able to ride comfortably from April thru November.  We are looking into some better gloves and we can push that even further!
